Joseph McGuier, R.A. Principal/Partner Joe has been drawing house plans from the age of 4! Studying his craft at the University of Cincinnati, Joe discovered a love for residential design and real estate development. After moving to Brooklyn after Graduate School Joe undertook a certificate in Real Estate Development at NYU. Pairing his love for architecture and development Joe provides a unique perspective to all his projects and is most often found perusing Street Easy for the next great opportunity in the neighborhoods he loves. Joe has a special place in his heart for brownstones and townhouses and loves to take advantage of every inch of space while maintaining the spatial proportions each townhouse deserves. Outside the office, Joe can be found in Prospect Park with his wife and son or at the neighborhood pub enjoying a burger and an IPA!

Megan Conover, R.A. Principal/Partner Megan is a Brooklyn based architect and holds a Masters in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati. An architecture lover from an early age Megan’s favorite archetype of building is rural farm architecture, specifically barns, and enjoys the simplicity of design arising from basic functional needs and carries this principal throughout all her projects. An appropriate balance of old and new is also something Megan strives for as her love for old buildings and anything vintage will always be an undertone layered into each unique project that comes across her drafting board. Figuring out how to modernize a building in a way that maintains the character that is appropriate for each building is also something Megan finds important and tries to instill in each project.

Andrew Miller Kenobi, R.A. Staff Andrew’s study of architecture at Buffalo SUNY and Pratt provide him with a progressive and unique outlook on architecture. His favorite room in any house is the cellar because you can see the foundation and his favorite possession is the foam furniture he recently designed for a local gallery exhibition.  Andrew’s brings this distinct outlook to the projects he manages and always provides an interesting point of view when problem solving. When Andrew isn’t at work you’ll most likely find him at a bar or watching Mad Max.

Sally Brenner Staff Attending Roger Williams University and being raised in New Hampshire Sally has always been inspired by the houses and old buildings around her that need a little love. Sally joined the JAM team in the beginning of 2016 and infuses her positive outlook into each project she manages. Sally loves color, contrasts and mixing patterns and thinks that, used in the right ways, these design elements can enhance any project. Outside of work, Sally can be found discovering new cuisines at local restaurants or in a sunny spot reading a good book.
