landmarked victorian

Located in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, this incredible freestanding Victorian house is being modernized for a growing family. Smart spatial changes and a period appropriate palette will allow the house to retain it's character while serving as a bright, modern home.

berkshires barn

We are undertaking a sensitive renovation of a Pre-Revolutionary barn to serve as a weekend retreat for a New York-based family. Two story spaces, exposed post and beam construction and walls of windows will create a warm and inviting family retreat. Set against this historic barn, we are also building a new modern barn to house a car collection, with terraces to enjoy the incredible views of the 26-acre estate and mountains beyond.

brooklyn ART deco

Located in a Landmarked Art Deco tower, this duplex apartment is being completely gutted and reconfigured to solve challenging spatial issues and introduce vibrant Art Deco materials and detailing. A curved steel and wood stair, sunken living room and incredible views will steal the show!

upper west side MODERN

We are creating a modern but warm pied-á-terre for our Los Angeles based client. The design priorities are to maximize openness and enjoy the amazing views from every room. A material palette of warm oak, terrazzo, bronze cabinets and textured walnut paneling will create an inviting oasis nearly 50 floors above the Upper West Side.

Set among nearly 30 acres of fields and woods, a circa 1850s Greek Revival farmhouse is being faithfully restored and modernized to be used as the year round weekend escape for a Brooklyn-based family of five. Entertaining spaces are the priority as well as an ability to host extended family. Phase 2 includes restoring a post and beam barn as an open entertaining space for large parties and sports.

cobble hill townhouse

This Landmarked early Italianate townhouse is being gut renovated and enlarged with a 3-story rear extension, cellar excavation and all new mechanicals. The front facade is being restored to the original design from the late 1850's and the front parlor, which is in original condition and pristine, is the only room untouched in the house.

5th ave pre-war

This classic 8-room Pre-war apartment, originally designed by Rosario Candela, is undergoing an extensive renovation and restoration. The original layout is graceful and will remain, but the kitchen and service wings are being opened up, modernized with new mechanicals, and will include a 400SF kitchen, study, powder room and laundry.

Located on a beautiful block near the ocean in Los Angeles, this nearly 8,000SF 1930s Tudor house is being fully restored, modernized and brightened. Our new work respects the original detailing while creating a family-friendly layout that has a much better connection to the outdoors so our New York-based clients can take advantage of the fantastic California weather.
